Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using HiPath AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HiPath AI is a personalized learning platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate custom learning roadmaps, provide tutoring and mentoring, deliver quizzes and spaced repetition reviews, and track your learning progress. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal educational use.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

HiPath AI offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.
• Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date.
• You can cancel anytime from your Settings page. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@hipath.ai with any issues.
• We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store or handle your payment card details.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate learning roadmaps, quiz questions, tutor responses, and coaching suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. It should not be relied upon as factual or professional advice.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content for your learning goals.
• AI responses are generated based on your input and learning context. They are not reviewed by human experts before delivery.
• We continuously work to improve the accuracy and helpfulness of AI-generated content, but make no guarantees about its quality or correctness.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including quiz answers, project submissions, chat messages, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant HiPath AI a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train external AI models.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempting to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or subscription gating
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping the Service
• Uploading malicious code or attempting to compromise the security of the Service
• Using automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users through community features

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiPath AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. The Service is provided without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or extended inactivity. If your account is terminated, you will lose access to all associated data. You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the application. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Nepal.
